1st stage maintenance complete at the Oil Refinery

Six process units were overhauled on schedule at the Oil Refinery from March 27 to April 29.


A hydrocracker (L-16-1), a hydrotreater (GO-3), FCC units (KK-1, KK-2), a gas fractionator (GFU-1) and a free sulfur production unit (PES-2) were shut down to carry out the work. Currently, all the facilities have resumed process operation.

In 2019, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat repairs technologically interconnected units of the Oil Refinery in two stages. During the second maintenance stage in September and October, a desalter and CDU/VDU (ELOU-AVT-6 Unit), a gas treatment & compression unit (OGiKG), a gas treatment & fractionation unit (KiFG), a hydrotreater (GO-2) and a free sulfur production unit (PES-1) will be shut down. Arrangements for inspection of the equipment to be shut down have commenced at these production facilities, technical meetings are held to prepare process units for repair operations.
