The company has acquired the right to use the “Russian Exporter” designation of the voluntary certification system “Made in Russia”.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat has successfully passed the first stage of the voluntary certification system “Made in Russia” and gained a certificate of conformity to the system’s requirements. The document covers production of oil products, other major organic chemicals, fertilizers and nitrogen compounds, plastics and synthetic resins in primary forms. The certificate’s validity is two years. Based on the document, the data on Gazprom neftekhim Salavat are entered into the register of bona fide exporters.

The Company was also entitled to use the system's conformity mark “Russian Exporter” designated for placement on the official website and promotional materials.

Currently, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat prepares documents for the “Made in Russia’s” second certification stage — product certification. Having obtained a product conformity certificate, a producer will be able to use the “Made in Russia” labelling. It is applied on a product, its package and documentation and informs customers of the product conformity to the requirements of the voluntary certification system and confirms that the product was produced in the Russian Federation by the manufacturer acknowledged as a bona fide exporter.

The voluntary certification system “Made in Russia” was created in 2017 for promoting Russian products abroad under the single brand. To get the marking, manufacturers have to undergo a certification procedure in Russian Export Center JSC — a state institute for export support founded with the aid of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Experts conduct an independent evaluation of a company’s purview and foreign economic potential, and products’ conformity to the requirements of the Russian legislation. The voluntary certification system “Made in Russia” is aimed to help Russian producers reach international markets and guarantees a foreign customer products safety and quality.

The oil refining and petrochemical products are exported to all federal subjects of the country. The geography of export covers over 50 CIS and non-CIS countries including Finland, China, Brazil, the UK, Western Europe countries and the Baltic states.

The Company’s occupational health and safety management system is compliant with the requirements of OHSAS 18001 international standard.
