Equipment and internals of K-1 and K-2 towers were replaced and operating parameters were changed in Workshop No. 18 of the Oil Refinery and tens of hundreds of analyses were carried out to master the production of BND 70/100 grade bitumen to the new standard. This work was performed jointly with the Laboratory and Analytical Department and Salavatnefteorgsintez Scientific and Technical Center.

BND 70/100 product was certified for the compliance of its quality with GOST 33133–2014 and received the Certificate of Conformity in 2017. The initial batches of BND 70/100 grade bitumen have been produced in 2018. The first buyers of the road pavement component offering improved performance, namely, extended service life, have appeared in March. At the moment, more than 2.5 thousand tons of BND 70/100 grade bitumen have been shipped to companies located in the Republics of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Mari El, as well as in the Kurgan and Chelyabinsk Oblasts. The manufacture of this product is currently in progress. Simultaneously, another bitumen grade, BND 100/130, is under development to comply with the new GOST.
