First container train with goods produced by GNS was sent to Buslovskaya border station (Oktyabrskaya main road). The rolling stock will be subsequently transferred to Finnish side and then forwarded to Kotka station.

The Company used to send its goods in this direction by groups of rail cars. Express container train consisting of 57 platforms was put into service for the first time.

— Usage of container trains reduces delivery time by 1.5–2 times in comparison with delivery by groupage freight rolling stocks, — Ruslan Fairuzov says. — A train goes from dispatch station to destination station without splitting and this contributes to reaching high speed and safety of cargo. Besides, container trains follow strict schedule, which improves punctuality of deliveries.

Solemn moment. After cutting the ceremonial red ribbon, the rolling stock with 114 tank containers has left the station.

Transportation of products produced by Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, the largest petrochemical complex in Russia, was organized by LLC SpecTransContainer, affiliated branch of PAO TransContainer on Kuibyshev Railway in collaboration with Kuibyshev Territorial Center of the Corporate Transport Services (TTsFTO).

The director of affiliate, Aleksey Bulytov, noted this was a significant event for the company. He thanked management of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat for cooperation and support in organizing expedited transportation.

— Taking into consideration the outputs of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, it was beneficial to organize transportation in this way with GNS, — Aleksey Bulytov added. — Usage of container trains helps to attain good synergetic effect. Among advantages for petrochemical company in Salavat there are speed and cheapening of output products supply, for railway tracks — reduction of infrastructure load, and for us, equipment operators, it results in optimization of equipment operation.
