Ready for spring flood
Gazprom neftekhim Salavat takes flood prevention measures.
A flood control committee is set up in the Company. Process facilities are being prepared for the spring flood of 2021. Twelve of the measures against emergency situations caused by spring thaw are fully completed and twenty are in progress. Roofs, perimeter pavement of buildings and constructions, pits, cable tunnels and utility vaults are regularly cleaned of snow and ice. Measures are taken to prevent wastes from entering the sewerage systems along with effluents and melt water. Surroundings of rainwater wells and industrial-waste disposal wells are cleaned in a timely manner to prevent melt water from accumulating and getting into sewage.
An unscheduled inspection of power poles is carried out. Water level in cable tunnels and cable channels is under control.
Water management is applied in process shops, makeup of water recycling units is minimized. Day-and-night duty schedules for responsible persons are made at every plant and in all divisions for the whole flood season.
Personnel of onshore pumping stations prepare for the flood season as well. They conduct technical diagnosis of pumping units and electrical equipment operation. Mobile water-pumping units are prepared. Renovation of river-water mains by trenchless method is in progress. As of today, two of the five water mains have been renovated from onshore pumping stations to the Company’s industrial site. Since 2019 the third water main has been being renovated in stages.

The oil refining and petrochemical products are exported to all federal subjects of the country. The geography of export covers over 50 CIS and non-CIS countries including Finland, China, Brazil, the UK, Western Europe countries and the Baltic states.
