The Company Increased the Output of Refined Products
Following the results of 2021, the Oil Refinery of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat increased the production volume of motor gasolines and diesel fuel.
Over the 12 months of last year the Company produced 1,335,501 tons of motor gasolines, a 13.3% increase compared to 2020 (1,179,120 tons). Diesel fuel production last year amounted to 2,237,785 tons, an upturn of 3.2% (2,167,559 tons in 2020).
— This became possible due to several factors: a larger supply of feedstock with high potential content of diesel fractions, commissioning of a Hydrogen Production Unit, which allowed to compensate for the shortage of hydrogen at diesel hydrotreaters during maintenance, as well as the conversion of ELOU-AVT-6 and GO-2 Units to the four-year run between repairs, — notes Azamat Khabibullin, First Deputy Director General for Production at Gazprom neftekhim Salavat.
In addition, the milestone of the Company’s investment projects in 2021 was the commissioning and start-up of the Catalytic Cracking Complex at the Refinery with the annual feedstock capacity of 1,095,000 tons. The production specialists consider that thanks to introduction of the new facility, the output of motor gasolines will potentially rise to 1.5 mln tons/year. It should be noted that the motor gasolines comply with the highest ecological standard Euro-5, have a lower sulfur content and fully meet the quality requirements of the Technical Regulations. The Catalytic Cracking and Fractionation Unit will produce 450,000 tons of commercial gasoline component per year. At the same time the increase in the output of light products is estimated at 5%.

The products are shipped to all federal subjects of the country. The main destinations for exports of petroleum products are European and CIS countries; for petroleum and gas chemical products — more than 30 CIS and non-CIS countries, with the largest volumes of petroleum and gas chemical products exported to Kazakhstan, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Finland and others.
