GNS provides substantial investments to production modernization and implementation of environmental projects for achieving a cleaner environment in Salavat

Air quality monitoring stations will make it possible to obtain accurate data on the quality of air in the town of Salavat in a real-time mode. The project is being implemented within the framework of the Investment Agreement between the Republic of Bashkortostan and Gazprom neftekhim Salavat. The Company’s investments in the project stand at more than 64 million rubles.

The stations include up-to-date equipment: gas analyzers for determining the content of nitrogen oxides, carbon oxide, hydrogen sulfide oxides, ammonia, sulfur oxide and dust analyzers. Automated gas chromatographs will be able to determine the presence and concentration of aromatic hydrocarbons, methanol, dimethylamine, ethylene and other contaminants in the ambient air. In addition, air quality monitoring station is equipped with ultrasonic weather station to measure such meteorological parameters as air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure and amounts of precipitation automatically.
