Getting Ready for Spring Field Works
Gazprom neftekhim Salavat will ship 25,000 tons of mineral fertilizers to the agricultural producers of Bashkortostan. Urea for the spring sowing will be supplied to 16 districts of the Republic.
At present, applications from the Republic’s agricultural companies are being collected and supply agreements concluded. To continuously supply fertilizers to agricultural producers, the Company has organized 24/7 shipments by road, including on weekends and public holidays. The capacity of the urea loading facilities in Salavat is up to 550 tons/day.
In coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, fertilizers are being transported to remote warehouses close to strategic businesses: GUP Bashplodorodiye, Trading Company Agrokhimiya, Trading Company Agrokhimtsentr and Burayevsky Feed-Milling Plant.
Gas and Chemical Plant of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat has been consistently and fully supplying the Republic’s agricultural producers with its fertilizers for eight years.
‘Stocking up the agricultural companies with fertilizers is a crucial task that defines the country’s food security. Today the state is focused on development of agriculture and significance of the rural sector in view of the food security, which involves support of agro-industry,’ noted Azamat Khabibullin, Deputy Director General for Production, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat. ‘Demand on mineral fertilizers from Russian agriculture is promoted by the imports phase-out programme and the measures included into the State-Run Programme of Agricultural Development for 2013–2020, i. e. state subsidy instruments.
