Agreement with SIBUR

SIBUR and Gazprom neftekhim Salavat have concluded the corporate agreement and are starting to cooperate on butyl acrylate market development on the basis of Salavat petrochemical complex (SNKhK). In accordance with the agreement the parties will incentivize butyl acrylate processing and provide competitive sales conditions.

Shipment of butyl acrylate for consumers


SIBUR produces butyl acrylate in SIBUR-Neftekhim located in Dzerzhinsk. Its capacity exceeds 40 thousand tons per year. The capacity of butyl acrylate production in Gazprom neftekhim Salavat amounts to 80 thousand tons per year. Products are sold on both domestic and export markets. Companies cooperation will make it possible to support the development of butyl acrylate subsequent processing products, maintain the import substitution on Russian market and also generate the concerted strategy of export supplies.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia with a complete cycle of crude hydrocarbons processing. The range of products includes gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, other oil products, liquefied gases, butyl alcohols, plasticizers, polyethylene, polystyrene, ammonia, urea and other products. Being the major exporter in Russia, the Company constantly revamps the existing production facilities and constructs new plants, implements up-to-date automated process control systems and improves the governance structure for optimization of the Company operations.
