The investment agreement with the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Azamat Khabibullin, First Deputy Director General (Production) of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat.
The document was signed by Andrei Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Azamat Khabibullin, First Deputy Director General (Production) of LLC Gazprom neftekhim Salavat.
In the investment agreement, the parties agreed on the terms and conditions for implementing the priority investment project «Reconstruction of the Catalytic Reforming Unit for gasoline L-35/11-1000 with an increase in feedstock capacity to 2,000 tons per year».
— Since 2021, we have been consistently increasing our petroleum product output thanks to the commissioning of the largest Catalytic Cracking Complex. Now one of the important tasks is the reconstruction of the L-35/11-1000 Catalytic Reforming Unit for gasoline. It will allow us to take twice as much feedstock — straight-run gasoline — for processing, — said Azamat Khabibullin, First Deputy Director General (Production) of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat. — Today we have signed the agreement with the Republic of Bashkortostan on this project. I am confident that the region's support will help the Company implement this large-scale project in full, and in turn, the start-up of the renewed production facility will contribute to the development of the republic's industrial potential.
In Salavat, the L-35/11-1000 Catalytic Reforming Unit for gasoline was commissioned in 1978 as one of the biggest reformers in the country. Its feedstock capacity is 1,000 tons per year. Realization of the Unit reconstruction project will provide additional processing of at least 1,000 tons per year of straight-run gasoline. The project is included in the refinery modernization program. Within the framework of the project not only the L-35/11-1000 Unit blocks (reactor block, compressor room, chemical facilities, RTP-54, water circulation section and operator's room) will be retrofitted and reconstructed, but also a new facility — Amine Gas Treatment Unit — will be built. Modern equipment from domestic manufacturers is used in the reconstruction.
