Taxpayer of Year
Gazprom neftekhim Salavat became the winner of the annual republican competition «Taxpayer of the Year» in 2023.
Based on the competition results, the Company was honored among 64 best taxpayers of Bashkortostan. The company was awarded a diploma of the second degree in «Manufacturing» activity among large organizations.
Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, awarded the best taxpayers. The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that interest in the competition was growing every year. Thus, compared to the last year, the number of participants increased by 22 amounting to 189.
Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, bestowed the award to Azamat Khabibullin, First Deputy Director General of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat.
According to the Prime Minister, over the period of 11 months of 2023, the consolidated budget of the Republic received more than 205 billion rubles as tax revenues. Of these, almost every tenth ruble was contributed by the “Taxpayer of the Year” competition winners.

For example, last year the amount of benefits totaled about 20 billion rubles. At the same time, the main part of such preferences is intended to spur the economy, business and investment activity. It is gratifying that our assistance to business receives a positive response in the form of stable revenues to the republican treasury, — said Andrey Nazarov.
Based on 2023 results, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat transferred 8.591 billion rubles to the federal budget and 28.640 billion rubles to the budget of the Republic of Bashkortostan including 0.352 billion rubles to the municipal budget of Salavat.
The “Taxpayer of the Year” competition is established by decree of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and held in the Republic for the fifth time. It is intended to identify and give an incentive to successful companies with the highest level of tax compliance and business transparency. The competition is held in various types of activities: agriculture, forestry, mining and quarrying; manufacturing; electricity, gas and steam supply; construction; trade; transportation and storage, etc. In each nomination, the winner is determined by 3 categories: large organizations, medium-sized businesses and unitary enterprises, small businesses.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia. The Complex was founded in 1948.
The Company is integrated into the Gazprom system. It has the basic advantage: consolidating on a single site a full cycle of crude hydrocarbons processing, petrochemistry and mineral fertilizers production. The Company comprises the Oil Refinery, Gas & Chemical Plant and the Monomer Plant.
Gazprom neftekhim Salavat produces more than 150 items, over 50% of which are bulk products including motor gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, styrene, polystyrene, low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, DOP plasticizer, butyl alcohols, sulphur, ammonia, urea, acrylic acid, butyl acrylate etc.
The products are shipped to all federal subjects of the country. Export supplies of oil products are mainly directed to European and CIS countries. Petro- and gas chemicals are exported to over 30 CIS and non-CIS countries.
