Evgeny Semenko was born in 1973 in Ufa. He graduated from Ufa State Petroleum Technical University majoring in Chemical Technologies of Organic Substances and Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Administration, Strategic Management Program.
He started his career in 2001 as Department Head, POLIEF. From 2016 to 2017, he held the position of Executive Director, Belozerny Gas Processing Complex. In 2018–2020, he discharged functions of Director, Production; Director, Health, Safety and Environment, SiburTyumenGaz. In 2020–2022, General Director, POLIEF; in 2023, General Director, Volzhsky Orgsynthese.
Awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia. The Complex was founded in 1948.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat produces more than 150 items, over 50% of which are bulk products including motor gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, styrene, polystyrene, low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, DOP plasticizer, butyl alcohols, sulphur, ammonia, urea, acrylic acid, butyl acrylate etc.
The products are shipped to all federal subjects of the country. Export supplies of oil products are mainly directed to European and CIS countries. Petro- and gas chemicals are exported to over 30 CIS and non-CIS countries.
