“Ecology and Technologies —2024”
On April 11, 2024, the VIII Ecological Forum and the specialized exhibition “Ecology and Technologies — 2024” began in Ufa. The forum is attended by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Andrei Nazarov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Georgy Arapov.
“During these spring days, we always invite experts, leading specialists in the field of construction, housing and communal services, and environmental protection to the capital of our republic. For us, this is a great honor and responsibility," said Radiy Khabirov.
The Ecological Forum, which has traditionally been held in Ufa for many years, is the largest event that presents ecological, resource-saving technologies and innovations in the field of environmental protection. Moreover, guests of the forum have the opportunity to participate in a business program that considers the most important and relevant issues of the industry.
Alexander Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, addressed the participants of the Ecological Forum with a welcoming speech.

With the continued support of the federal center, the republic actively participates in the implementation of the activities of the national project “Ecology”. It is also worth noting that the Ecological Forum has been an optimal place for the exchange of experience in the field of environmental protection for eight years. It brings together specialists and experts from various regions of Russia and foreign countries. Every year the geography of the participants expands. Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat is one of the traditional participants of the exhibition. The company's stand at the exhibition was visited by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov. Evgeny Semenko, General Director of RGD PS, the Management Company of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, spoke about the company's work on the implementation of environmental projects, in particular the start up of a new Industrial sulphur plant allowing to process the hydrogen sulfide gas as a by-product from other units of the company. This project will reduce the amount of harmful substances of the company to the atmosphere. Through the implementation of this project, it is expected that emissions will be reduced by more than 4.5 tons per year.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia. The Complex was founded in 1948.

The products are shipped to all federal subjects of the country. Export supplies of oil products are mainly directed to European and CIS countries. Petro- and gas chemicals are exported to over 30 CIS and non-CIS countries.
