New Automated Unit of Timed Filling (AUTF) was put into operation
The Oil Refinery has finished the comprehensive testing of Automated Unit of Timed Filling (AUTF) for dark oil products into railway tanks. The capacity of the new AUTF is 3 million tons per year.
Automated Unit of Timed Filling for dark oil products is designed for automatically controlled dispatch of the dark oil products: fuel oil, bitumen, pyrolysis resin and vacuum gasoil. The tanks are automatically placed under the filling stands by means of maneuvering mechanisms. The control system is situated in the operator room.
New AUTF increased the safety and eco-friendliness of the dark oil product filling alongside with modern equipping and minimization of human labour.
«Construction of the new Automated Unit of Timed Filling for dark oil products is a part of a huge modernization program», Rustem Galiev, Director for Investments and Capital Construction of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat explains. «At the end of 2015 we signed a Commissioning Certificate. This is a final document of the project working stage, which means a handover to operation.»
