Head of the Republic visited the main Company’s sites under construction
During his working trip on May 12, 2016 Rustem Khamitov together with Farit Gilmanov, the Head of Salavat, Shamil Sharipov, Director General of Gazprom transgaz Ufa and Ayrat Karimov, Executive Director of Gazprom pererabotka, visited Gazprom neftekhim Salavat construction sites expected to be completed in 2016–2017.

Guests visited Combined Cycle Power Plant PGU-410T, Acrylic Acid and Acrylates Complex, Sulfur-Alkaline Waste Water Neutralization Unit, Hydrogen Production Unit with a short-cycle adsorption section, Unit of Isomerization of Pentane-Hexane Cut and Catalytic Cracking Complex.
— The Company has worked hard to improve the ecological situation in the town and in the Republic as well as the environment protection. All new units comply with ecological safety requirements. It is essential that further efforts are put in this direction, — noted Mr. Khamitov.

Acrylic Acid and Acrylates Complex is designed for production of superabsorbents, acrylic dispersions and acrylic paints. Its structure will include the Crude Acrylic Acid Unit with a capacity of 80 000 t/y, the Butyl Acrylate Unit with a capacity of 80 000 t/y and the Glacial Acrylic Acid Unit with a capacity of 35 000 t/y.
Hydrogen Production Unit with a short-cycle adsorption section is intended for yield increase of high ecological class fuels Euro-5. Capacity of Hydrogen Production Unit will amount to 25 000 normal cubic meters per hour. Short-cycle adsorption section will allow hydrogen concentration to reach 99.7 % in hydrogen-containing gas.
Unit of Isomerization of Pentane-Hexane Cut is designed for production of isomerate — a high-octane component allowing to increase production of high ecological class gasolines Euro-4 and Euro-5. Design capacity is 434 000 tons of feedstock per year.
Catalytic Cracking Complex is aimed at processing vacuum gasoil from ELOU AVT-6 and ELOU AVT-4 Units to obtain high-octane component of commercial gasolines. Design capacity of the unit is 1.095 million tons of vacuum gasoil per year.
Combined Cycle Power Plant PGU-410T will allow to make thermal power generation more cost-effective and ensure the highest rates of power generation taking into account revamp of the existing plants and construction of new production facilities. Technical and economic indices of the unit amount to 401 MW of electric power and 200 Gcal/hr of thermal power (in terms of hot water).
Sulfur-Alkaline Waste Water Neutralization Unit will provide considerable neutralization and process effluent treatment, help to reduce the load onto the Sewage Treatment Works and return clean water of 100 percent quality to the water cycle. Design capacity of the unit is 50 t/h.
