Construction of Sulfur-Alkaline Waste Water Neutralization Unit is reaching completion
As a part of the ecological program the Oil Refinery is about to complete the construction of Sulfur-Alkaline Waste Water Neutralization Unit with a capacity of 50 tons per hour. The new industrial facility will help to reduce the load onto the Sewage Treatment Facilities and return water to the water cycle.
Commissioning of Sulfur-Alkaline Waste Water Neutralization Unit together with the global reconstruction of the Sewage Treatment Facilities will allow discharging water of 100% quality into the natural environment.
«The voltage is currently supplied to the sections of the unit», Igor Taratunin, Technical Director of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat notes. «The automated control system is being installed along with the preparation to the individual on-site testing.»
Sulfur-Alkaline Waste Water Neutralization Unit is designed for floatation processes, stripping, carbonation, biological and ozone treatment. The new facility will provide considerable neutralization and process effluent treatment, help to reduce the load onto the Sewage Treatment Works and return water to the water cycle.
