Working conditions reached
A scheduled overhaul has been completed at the high-density polyethylene production facility of LLC «Gazprom neftekhim Salavat».
On September 30, shop No. 23 returned to normal technological mode after repair works. The measures taken will improve the operational reliability of the equipment and allow to continue the production of high-pressure polyethylene.
During the overhaul period in shop No. 23 of the Monomer plant, all planned works on repair, cleaning, revision and inspection, diagnostics, examination of equipment were completed, works were performed on punch lists. Technical diagnostics were performed for a large number of equipment: 121 technological apparatus, 7 low and 22 high pressure pipelines, 23 units of interstage compressor equipment. 537 valve units were inspected. The inspection and repair of 12 pumps, 28 fans, one granulation line and six high-pressure compressors were carried out.
A scheduled safety expert review of 109 units of equipment was carried out.
“Such work must be done once a year in order to detect defects in time, replace the necessary sections of apparatus or pipelines,” says Aleksey Zayarnuk, head of workshop No. 23. — All these measures will ensure the stable operation of production, and hence the yield of high-quality products throughout the whole year.

Petro- and gas chemicals are exported to over 30 CIS and non-CIS countries and the largest volumes are shipped to Kazakhstan, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Finland etc.
