Gazprom neftekhim Salavat halted its high density polyethylene production due to regular overhaul
In accordance with the Company’s overhaul schedule approved for 2015, high density polyethylene (HDPE) production was halted in order to carry out maintenance works.
Regular overhauls are conducted twice a year. During the maintenance it is planned to clean 6 heat-exchangers, inspect 18 ball valves, perform rotating equipment maintenance and eliminate steam leaks.
As per the order, the maintenance will be performed from October 27 to November 4 and then the HDPE production will be restarted to get the grades in compliance with the previously approved product range.
