From Conveyor to Loading
The Gas Chemical Plant, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, has begun active shipment of mineral fertilizers to farmers of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
During the spring seedtime, the sale priority of urea is to fully meet the needs of the agricultural sector of the Republic.
During the year, the Company sells urea to agricultural producers in the region, who accumulate fertilizers in warehouses or immediately apply them to the soil. Starting from February-March, right before the spring seedage, this work becomes a priority. In February 2021, the Company sold 11,067 tons of fertilizers across Bashkortostan, compared to 4,378 tons in the same period last year.
As of February 10, the republican agricultural producers purchased almost 25 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers of all types in the active substance, which is 35% more than in the same period of 2020. Thus, there are 8.3 kg of fertilizers in the active substance per hectare of crops in the region. These figures were announced at an interdepartmental meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan — Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

At the Gas Chemical Plant, Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, special measures are envisaged to ensure uninterrupted supply of fertilizers to farmers. One of the most important things is organization and round-the-clock loading of fertilizers by road transport, including weekends and holidays. The manufacturer reminds the vehicle drivers arriving at the Plant for loading to comply with the mandatory preventive measures aimed at avoiding the spread of Coronavirus infection.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia. The Complex was founded in 1948.

The oil refining and petrochemical products are exported to all the federal subjects of the country. The export reach covers over 50 CIS and non-CIS countries including Finland, China, Brazil, the UK, Western Europe countries and the Baltic states.
